Our story

Born out of frustration
with broken hiring.

In 2023, our founding team was building software at a fast-growing startup in Bengaluru. Every few months, they'd have to hire — and every time, it was a mess. Resumes collected in spreadsheets. Interview questions made up on the spot. Feedback written in WhatsApp messages. Gut feel driving every decision.

They tried existing tools. HackerRank, Codility, HireVue. All built for large enterprises. None designed for teams that just needed a fast, fair, affordable way to run a structured interview.

So they built SmplyHyre — a platform where you upload a resume, the AI generates the questions, the candidate joins via a secure link (no account needed), and you walk away with a full scorecard before they leave the call.
